The main suspect is Jerry Manning, the play's director, whose motive was that the Bayliss' were planning on dropping him when the play hit the big screen. Meanwhile, Connie, who's researching her next role as a cop, tags along as Michael investigates--but he is soon annoyed by her attempts to be helpful.
