The boy is wounded in a gunfight and Latimer sobers up and practices his draw in preparaion to meet Billy in a showdown. Not wanting to kill Jody's father, Billy struggles to find a way to avoid the fight without running. Garrett gives Billy some advise but will the Kid listen?
